Deliveries in restricted zones will be midnight to 6am for businesses, but maybe call ahead and go to their warehouse at Richards and Pacific. Call Dan. Peacock & Martin will be ready to take the best possible care of their
customers during the lead up to and through to the end of the 2010
Olympics.
From our Yaletown warehouse which is fully stocked we have 2 trucks and
one bicycle fully serviced and ready to go. In the restricted zones we will be
delivering Thursdays in the early hours. Regular schedules apply for all
other areas.
What we cannot guarantee is access. We simply do not know what issues
with security, with protests such as blocking bridges, will occur. Rest
assured we are ready as much as is possible. We believe our largest
challenge will be congestion.
As a back up to delivery our warehouse in Yaletown at 1396 RichardsStreet (at Pacific) can be used as a pick up spot 7 days per week inemergencies. Please call ahead before you jump in your car.
Also we have refrigerated storage: for those off premise events where
carrying bins and ice is a challenge you don’t need.
Clearly it is in the interest of all of us to get everyone fully stocked up going
into the traffic restrictions. To this point Peacock & Martin will take back
surplus BC wines after the events are over if you find you have more than
you can reasonably carry.
