How do I know the Vancouver Condo Real Estate Market is picking up the pace?
Experience has taught me the signs to watch for and the questions to ask!
Keeping in touch with mortgage brokers, fellow Realtors, property inspectors and taking the pulse of my own clients is only part of "forming an opinion".
By the time sales get reported, and the next month's statistics are compiled, the market has already begun to move. While I am certain that Ontario and Quebec will continue to see a very slow market, I am confidant that Vancouver remains a desirable place to own a home, and we will continue to see immigration from all parts of Canada and around the world.
In this market my clients who are buying are relishing the time to choose, to have their inspections, and to read the strata documents thoroughly before removing their subjects.
In my humble opinion, the sky is not falling (that is the sun) and there are some great buying opportunities to discover.
While some say timing is everything, very few ever "catch" the top or bottom of any market. Don't be a lemming, but do remember "Location Location, Location". It will save you everytime.
